Weinberg Family Cerebral Palsy Center Hosts Spasticity CME

On Saturday, November 19, 2016, the Weinberg Family Cerebral Palsy Center hosted the Pediatric Rehabilitation Conference: Comprehensive Management of Spasticity Across the Lifespan at Blythedale Children’s Hospital. Dr. Heakyung Kim and Dr. David Roye were the course directors.

Learning objectives included:

  • Complete a plan of care for patients
  • Successfully perform Botox injections, hand splinting, serial casting, and assessments
  • Develop ability to identify disciplines needed to create a care team that can successfully execute the plan of care

Attendee participation and interaction was emphasized and facilitated through Q&A sessions, hands-on workshops, and pre and post tests. There was a livestream available for the course as well.
