Cerebral Palsy Update: What you need to know in 2019

This course will be of interest to physical therapists, occupational therapists, caregivers, family members, and individuals living with cerebral palsy. There is no cost to attend this event.
During the course of this activity, experts will be presenting the latest research, techniques, and technology in Cerebral Palsy care. Topics will include conservative spasticity management, hip and spine surveillance for children and adults, and evaluation and treatment strategies for designing effective and appropriate physical therapy programs. The purpose of this activity is for physical therapists, patients, and caregivers to keep up with the latest research and advances in cerebral palsy care as presented by many of the most prominent and respected experts in the field of Cerebral Palsy.
At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be better able to:
- Describe current literature and the latest information on best practices in cerebral palsy care.
- Recognize and apply best practices for monitoring cerebral palsy.
